How to Apply

ELIGIBILITY

Who is eligible:

• People with specific qualifying disabilities and specific medical diagnosis's, on the neighbor islands of Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, and Big Island.

• People who are considered low income

• People who's housing will pass a housing inspection

• Willing to work with a case manager on an on-going basis

• Person has not been on the NIHP program within the last year.

• Persons and families that have not committed a class 1 or 2 felony

There are other areas of eligibility that also need to be met before being deemed eligible and approved for a rental subsidy.
